Originally forming in school, Liberty Ship had already toured the country with the likes of Reverend and The Makers and King Charles by the time they were 18. Since then the band's success has led them to tour the UK, sell out multiple headline shows, support the likes of The Libertines, Milburn and The Pigeon Detectives, as well as be invited to play some of the UK's most prestigious festivals (including, Isle of Wight, Leeds & Reading, YNOT and Kendall Calling). Not forgetting the band's four well-received singles which have all featured artwork from acclaimed artist, Kid Acne, in his signature style. And there's no plan to slow down yet!
Liberty Ship are renowned for their authentic, energetic rock n roll sound, raw-yet-polished vocals and confident guitar solos. Their sound is one to define a generation and perfectly captures the wild exuberance of youth, which is visible at any one of their live performances!
Their new single, 'Which Way', picks up where their previous globally played single 'Cast Away' left off. Produced by Ed Cosens and Dave Sanderson, in 2Fly Studios, Which Way is dubbed to be your “new favourite song” (Reyt Good Magazine). This single is an upbeat tune which en-captures summer and is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser this festival season!
So, get yourself a cold beer and we'll see you down the front for Liberty Ship at Dronfest 2018!
