Sunset Collective (12.00-12.30)
Forming in 2019, Sunset Collective write with a distinctively catchy and melodic style. The songs demand the energy of the crowd at each gig with dance floor ready indie bangers and anthemic sing-alongs making sure each show is one to remember. Each track draws inspiration from the wide range of influences from each band member enabling Sunset Collective to craft a continually evolving and varied back catalogue of exciting, energetic songs that never fail to get a crowd going!
The Crafters (13.05 – 13.35)
Powerful vocals, engaging harmonies, electric/acoustic guitars, flute, whistle & melodica.
This 4-piece band play both relaxed and upbeat material, old & new. They cover music from 10cc, Lindisfarne, Cockney Rebel, Bowie, Rod Stewart, Amy McDonald, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, The Beautiful South, Blackmore’s Night, etc.
Easy on the ears – something for everyone to enjoy!
Alan & Vanessa (14.15 – 14.45)
Alan and Vanessa are a local duo. With Alan’s exquisite guitar pickin’ skills and Vanessa’s harmonies, they play a pro set of songs for you to enjoy.
Towards The Sun (15.35 – 16.05)
Towards the Sun are the brain child of bothers Nathan and Damon. Originally started as a side project for them both to finally play music together despite them both being in many bands over the years.
However the band has gone from strength to strength after getting in Drummer – Matthew Scott and Damons long time friend and fellow musician, Bassist – Carl Baker.
They have been performing their very unique style of high energy Rock and Metal covers for nearly a decade and are showing no sign of slowing down.
Stevie Wonder to Slipknot, Bryan Adams to Pantera – fasten your seat belts….it’s going to get energetic.
Julian Jones (16.45 – 17.15)
Julian Jones is a singer/songwriter/musician from Sheffield. His latest album ‘looking from where I stand’ continues a cosmic country, western indie pop sound that he has made his own. He will be performing a solo acoustic set of songs at Dronfest.
Katie Bosworth ft. Cary Baylis (17.55 – 18.25)
Katie Bosworth is a Singer/ Songwriter from Sheffield and is currently studying at Leeds College of Music. Katie is a soulful artist showcasing chilled, modern RnB energy. After releasing her debut single “Mine” in 2020, she continues to write and has more releases planned to be released very soon.
Accompanied by the amazing Cary Baylis, pop songwriter, producer and excellent guitarist. Having written many hit pop songs in the 1990’s such as Everything Changes by Take That, and Independence by Lulu, Cary continued his brilliant music career playing with the Sheffield renowned Acoustic Angels and many other musicians across the country.
The Recroots (19.25 – 20.00)
The Recroots are a high energy, no nonsense, uplifting Dronfield based band who play proper songs creating a real connection to their ever-growing fan-base who swarm to see them live.
With a fine blend of guitars and keyboards along with the ability to write catchy anthemic songs, these four guys have come together to create a fantastic live experience.
Formed in 2010, The Recroots have wowed venues all over the UK and achieved great recognition from their debut Album ‘Hey, hey, hey’, appearing on many bbc radio stations up and down the country.
Throughout lockdown the band have been working on a new set of songs and will be releasing their second album in late 2021. This bands live shows are one not to miss, so catch them when you can!
