Sneakin’ Stupidity are a 4-piece band playing the music of Dr. Feelgood, Wilko Johnson and other foot stompin' rhythm and blues.
The group was founded by Brian Padley and Barry Thurman in early 2013 when one night they attended the Midland Jam Night and got up on stage with a young drummer called Steve Day, he joined the band in July. Just before Steve joined singer and harmonica player Mel Day (Stevens dad) was invited as a guest for Barry’s birthday gig at Rotherham Trades Club on 1st June 2013, the chemistry between the three was spot on and Mel was made a member that night. The band went from strength to strength playing gigs around South Yorkshire and quickly gaining a faithful following.
Unfortunately, Steve left in August 2014 to pursue a career in film editing but luckily the band found powerhouse drummer Paul Holden and the band continue to work happily together throughout S. Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
